Wilshaw Engineering was part of the site infrastructure and engineering for the Stage 2 upgrade of facilities at the Cliffs Nickel Project. The Stage 2 infrastructure upgrade included the administration office and mine operations complex, relocation of the reverse osmosis plant, workshop extension and primary vent fans. As part of the project Wilshaw Engineering was contracted to provide the:

  • Arrangement design of the administration and mine operation complex and associated sites services.
  • Civil engineering design and detailing of the existing surface workshop extension and upgraded workshop lubricating facilities.
  • Civil engineering design and detailing of the primary vent fan moisture trap.
  • Civil engineering design and detailing of the paste fill plant.
  • Complete master estimate for the Cliffs Nickel Feasibility.
  • Capital cost estimation for each of the infrastructure components of the upgrade.
