Wilshaw was engaged to design and manage the construction of a village expansion. Several areas of design were engaged including earthworks, civil, electrical, piping and mechanical design. Site specific standards and client standards applied to all design works.
Project engineering of the expansion involved the management of numerous onsite contractors with the need to finish works to specific schedules in order to meet client deadlines. These works were completed and the expansion became successfully operational within the target schedule. Utilisation of standard Gantt charts and S-curves were implemented in order to identify and eliminate and delivery delays.
Design analysis and modification of the existing wastewater treatment plant coincided with the village expansion and was also successfully completed. Design analysis and modification of the existing HV power supply was also successfully completed.
