The project was the expansion of the existing underground pumping facility at the Hammerhead 1980 RL. The extension of the system comprised of three pump stations containing three “WearTuff” WT106 progressive cavity pumps. Wilshaw was contracted to provide the engineering design of the pumping system which was inclusive of all the electrical, mechanical and structural requirements associated with a surface pumping system. In addition, Wilshaw provided the civil design for the pump bases at the underground pumping facility.
