Its key functional and safety features include:

  • Emergency control system – located in the control box on the platform and on the chassis of ITC, it includes emergency stop (shuts down ITC engine) and emergency lower (lowers the work platform by bleeding hydraulic fluid to reservoir)
  • Camera system – displays a view of the work platform to monitor personnel and allows visual communication between the operator and personnel
  • Quick connection to ITC – work platforms are fitted with standard Volvo ITC attachment hooks, and hosing and wiring for components fitted with a quick coupling
  • Tyre pressure monitoring – monitors all four tyre pressures on the ITC using sensors on valves of each wheel, has a low-pressure, audible alarm and visually indicates which tyre(s) are affected
  • Stability control system
