WILSHAW WORK PLATFORMS
Wilshaw fabricated seven single-deck and two hi-lift work platforms for the Oyu Tolgoi mine in Mongolia.
The platforms suit JCB telehandler 550-140 Q-fit and JCB 437 wheel loaders and comply with AS/NZS 3990 Mechanical Equipment – Steelwork, AS/NZS 1418.10 2010 cl 2.5.3 - 2.5.9.
The platforms included:
- sliding crush posts;
- pump lifting points;
- cable roller posts;
- four fall arrest attachment points;
- rear tool box;
- mounts for emergency stops; and
- descent valve.
All Wilshaw platforms are designed by a certified engineer (AS 3990), checked for strength and stability based on in-house design parameters, and a Chartered Professional Engineers’ ‘Certificate of Structural Integrity’ is provided.
