Strength wise, the escapeways are designed to AS 3990 – 2013, Mechanical Equipment – Steelwork.
The escapeways comply with MSIR 1995 10.26 (Western Australia) and generally conform to AS1657-1992 with modifications to suit an underground environment and special requirements associated with emergency egress situations.
