Project flashback: ventilation liners for Red October Gold Mine
In 2013, Redpath Mining Contractors engaged Wilshaw to design and supply steel can ventilation liners for Saracen’s inaugural underground operation, Red October Gold Mine.
The project was a collaboration between Redpath Mining Contractors, PYBAR Mining Contractors, Saracen and Wilshaw.
Redpath Mining Contractors drilled a 4.5 metre diameter raisebore and Wilshaw supplied 35 metres of steel can liners to line the raisebore to provide the mine with a primary return air way (RAR).
