PROJECT UPDATE: WILSHAW HELPS RUC MINING ACHIEVE SIGNIFICANT MILESTONES AT APPIN MINE SHAFT OPERATIONS

Once again working collaboratively with our business partner, RUC Mining and its team at Appin Mine Shaft Operations, we have helped them achieve some significant project milestones:

  • The sinking stage was expertly assembled and safely chaired in the shaft, with the lift weighing in at just under 70 tonnes (including proof load) – achieved with precise planning and preparation!
  • In collaboration with Eilbeck Heavy Machining, we manufactured and mobilised two Rucshaw 5/12 winders
  • A flawless first blast means the pre-sink is now complete down to a depth of 50 metres
