Wilshaw completes CAT962 MEWP registration for one of its key clients
Wilshaw recently completed the MEWP registration for a Caterpillar 962 wheel loader for one of its key clients.
As well as its comprehensive design and engineering services, Wilshaw offers a complete MEWP registration service for both hi-lift and single-deck plant.
Taking care of everything, Wilshaw has completed many MEWP design registrations for clients, and manages all stages of the process, including:
- Specification of all additional ancillary equipment required for the loader and work platform – can be organised & supervised by Wilshaw, or organised by the client and verified by a Wilshaw representative
- Supporting documentation
- Structural calculations and drawings for the work platform, if not manufactured by Wilshaw & not available from the supplier
- Prescribing and supervising testing (normally undertaken at clients’ facilities), in accordance with AS1418.10: 2011 Section 3
- Providing an independent design verifier to review all documentation & witness testing
- Management & submission of the registration with the DMIRS
