PRODUCT FOCUS: COMPLIANT FAN HANDLING PLATFORMS
Keeping your workers safe while working at height is critical in underground mining environments.
Wilshaw designs and manufactures a range of purpose-built work platforms (in a range of sizes and configurations) for underground mining applications, including fan handling platforms.
Our fan handling platforms are compliant to AS1418.10_2011, and work with Volvo L120 & Caterpillar 962M loaders.
Their robust design and long service life provide excellent durability in rugged environments.
All our work platforms are Certified Engineer designed (AS 3990), checked for strength and stability (using Wilshaw’s in-house design parameters) and certified with a Chartered Professional Engineers “Certificate of Structural Integrity”.
Our work platforms features include:
- Anchor points for each person working within the basket
- Optional full internal mesh restricting people from climbing the inside of the basket
- Inward opening self-latching door
- Internal grip rails
- Optional toolboxes
- Interchangeable quick-hitch option
- Typically painted safety yellow
